Vassar College

Vassar is a private, liberal arts college. Founded for women in 1861, it adopted coeducation in 1969. Its 1,000-acre campus is located on the outskirts of Poughkeepsie, 75 miles north of New York City. It includes a range of architecture from Gothic to modernist.

The Hudson River Group (HRG), a joint delegation of Dutchess Community College and Vassar College, represented Italy at this years Model United Nations simulation in New York City and earned an Honorable Delegation designation as well as recognition for the excellence of their position papers.
