Vassar is a private, liberal arts college. Founded for women in 1861, it adopted coeducation in 1969. Its 1,000-acre campus is located on the outskirts of Poughkeepsie, 75 miles north of New York City. It includes a range of architecture from Gothic to modernist.

On Thursday (2/9) at 6:00pm, she will deliver a lecture entitled "Gericault's London: Representing Misery after the Industrial Revolution?” [If you cannot attend, the lecture will be webcast at a later date.]
