In order to understand all costs related to your education at VFS, all individuals interested in coming to VFS should speak to an Admissions Advisor. After speaking with an Admissions Advisor, you will receive assistance from our U.S. Financial Aid Advisor, who is available to answer questions and provide detailed information on any aspect of qualifying criteria, maximum loan amounts, your specific situation, and applying for the loan. US citizens accepted into a full time program at VFS are eligible to apply for private education loans.

- 3D Animation & Visual Effects grad Neill Blomkamp directed and co-wrote 2009’s Oscar nominated District 9 with Writing for Film & Television grad Terri Tatchell, produced by Peter Jackson.
- 3D grad Alec McClymont won an Emmy award for his effects work on the series Battlestar Galactica, while fellow grad Lino DiSalvo was a lead animator on the film Bolt as well as the voice of Vinnie the Pigeon.
- Actors Niall Matter (The Best Years Watchmen), Magda Apanowicz (Kyle XY, Caprica), Tara Spencer-Nairn (Corner Gas), and Sara Canning (Vampire Diaries) are among the many Acting for Film & Television grads to forge successful careers.
- Classical Animation’s Andrew Overtoom was nominated for two Emmys for his work as Animation Director on SpongeBob SquarePants.

- Film Production grad Katherine Walker is a producer in Los Angeles, and was twice nominated for Emmys for The Apprentice.
- Portland-based Film Production grad Neil Kopp won a 2008 Independent Spirit Award, in part for producing Gus Van Sant’s Paranoid Park.
- Sound Design for Visual Media alumni Jeremy Bowker and Jessica Lemes da Silva work at Skywalker Sound. Their Their many credits include Horton Hears a Who!, Enchanted, Iron Man, and Beowulf.
- Sound Design grad Joseph Lawrence is Lead Sound Designer at Blizzard Entertainment and has worked on several of Blizzard’s AAA game titles.
