University of Limerick
The University of Limerick is a public university located on the western coast of Ireland. The school was founded in 1972 and granted full university status in 1989. Limerick is widely known as Ireland's "American" university, given its integration of many American educational standards, such as cooperative education and use of grade point averages. The University of Limerick is the home to the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, the Irish Chamber Orchestra, and the Daghdha Dance Company. A large portion of student housing is on-campus, which is in direct contrast to many other Irish universities. Limerick is in a period of rapid expansion, with the Jim Kemmy Business School, the Languages Building, and the School of Medicine having been completed within the last few years. - 266Hi Haley, thanks for your interest in UL! Due to government funding there is a difference between tuition fee rates for international students and Irish students, similar to the differences between in-state and out of state applicants in the USA. At present, the tuition for the BA HPSS is €11,495 per year. For more information have a look on our website www.ul.ie/international.
