How accesible is it to join the DU debate team? Should I start contacting people now?

Hi Erin. We definitely have a competitive debate team that competes locally and nationally. I would recommend that you go to http://www.du.edu/ahss/schools/comn/debate.html to learn more and contact Darrin Hicks to learn more! Good luck! ~Rachel, Admission Counselor

How is the Music and Performing Arts program there? Is there a curriculum for Guitar studies? Also, what about clinical psychology?

Hi Jeff! The Lamont school of music is very well regarded throughout the music community, and they do offer guitar studies - BA Guitar, BM Guitar Performance, and a BM in Jazz studies and commerical music. Here is Lamont's website: http://www.du.edu/ahss/schools/lamont/programs/index.html. The theatre department is also wonderful - the theatre class I took for my arts and humanities credits was one of my favorite classes at DU! As for clinical psychology, that is just one facet of the psychology major for undergraduates, as the major touches on Developmental, Cognitive, Neuroscience, and Social Psychology as well. Here is the Psychology department website: http://www.du.edu/psychology/undergraduate/DU%20Prospective%20Students.htm. I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions! ~Sydney, Undergraduate Admission Fellow

  • Look who was on the DU campus today!! Yes, that's Steve Kroft from 60 Minutes, interviewing our own law professor Sam Kamin about the legalization of marijuana and the constitutional implication ... pretty impressive. Did you know the legalization of recreational marijuana is on the Colorado ballot for November? Could it pass?
