- 798Terrence GreavesWe usually evaluate students based upon there Critical Reading and Math scores on the SAT. Our average student has between a 1070 and 1100 on those two sections. The Essay section is used for awarding an additional scholarship.

- 798Elvis we offer a number of merit based scholarships based on grades and SAT/ACT scores as well as competitive need based aid packages. I wouldn't disqualify any school based on cost. We also have alternative payment plan options as well.

- 798We have Campus Access Services which helps students who have learning differences. We also have the First Year Success Center which helps all students with making the transition to college. As well as we have the Center for Learning Resources which is a free tutoring service on campus which provides help in pretty much every course offered on campus.

- 46Thank you so much! Also, does the University of New Haven take college credits from concurrent college courses? When I graduate from high school this June I should have a total of six english composition credits from my local community college. Will they transfer?
- 80The University of New Haven will accept transfer credits from an accredited institution as long as you have received a grade of C or better in those courses! You will need to submit your transcript from those courses so that we can do a credit evaluation and let you know what those credits would transfer over as.

We are a very transfer friendly school and I believe your admission counselor Jason Riendeau has been in contact with you and will be working with you through your application process in regards to taking some part time courses. He will be a good contact for you if you have any questions, but as of now, let's see that GPA skyrocket ! :) We'll gladly take a look at your Military credit and see how the courses fit our UNH curriculum, and your college credit with a grade of C or better will be evaluated also once you are accepted. - 181Ok because from what Capitol told me, after my military transcript get's evaluated, I may wind up with an Associates degree this year.. Is their any requirements with that.
- 312We don't have requirements for students to have an Associate's degree. It's a good thing to have but we look at each student equally! Go Chargers!
- 181Thanks, also, what sets me apart from most students is that I am acomplished writer and have written two poetry books and working on a third poetry book. I'm also Deaf in one ear and born with a Genetic condition called Kallmann's syndrome.

- 798We have the best and one of the oldest Forensic Science programs in the country. It was founded in 1975 by Dr. Henry Lee who is world famous for his work on the O.J. Simpson case as well as Jon Benet Ramsey case and many others. One of the unique things that we offer at UNH is that after your sophomore year you can elect to earn a second degree in either Chemistry of Biology.
