Trinity College
As a residential college located in a city, Trinity offers extensive opportunities for combining classroom instruction with experiential learning in the city. Students expand their education through intellectual conversations and campus activities, engage with the city through internships and community service, and explore the wider world through study abroad and international initiatives. Whether they choose to study further or go on to rewarding careers, Trinity graduates learn to make a difference in the world.
The heart of Trinity's educational excellence is the close personal encounter between professor and student. This intellectual partnership opens a world of ideas and launches a life long pursuit of knowledge. Students are challenged to think critically and creatively, and learn to develop effective communication and argumentation skills. Passions are ignited and they learn to draw new connections, share experiences, and become responsible citizens.
The accomplishments of Trinity College students, faculty and alumni continue to demonstrate the relevance - indeed, the necessity - of an excellent liberal arts education.

- 812Dylan MosenthalHi Shane. As we are a liberal arts school, we don't have a business program. That being said, we have a very popular economics major - in fact, we are one of the top five schools with graduates serving as CEOs of major corporations. Here's more information on the major: http://www.trincoll.edu/Academics/MajorsAndMinors/Economics/Pages/default.aspx

- 812Hi Lauren. Like many of the language program offered at Trinity College, the German program allows for students to learn the language both inside and outside of the classroom. I often see students at the German table in the dining hall, and there is also German club and German film series. For more information, check out our website: http://www.trincoll.edu/Academics/MajorsAndMinors/German/Pages/default.aspx Let me know if you have any more questions!

- 812Hi Sydney. I have found the small student body to be extremely beneficial. Academically, small class sizes allow you to create close relationships with your professors. This is great for when you need help outside of the classroom, for they will always make the time to meet with you and make you understand the material. With regards to the social scene, 2200 undergraduates is the perfect number. You will never go weeks on end without seeing a friend, but at the same time you don't feel claustrophobic. When it come to accepting new students, Trinity looks at the whole package: transcript, standardized test scores, recommendations, essay, extracurricular activities. Your application will be reviewed by at least three admissions officers, one being our Dean of Admissions, so your application will be getting its due attention! Let me know if you need any other questions answered.

- 812Hi Marissa. At Trinity, we offer one merit-based scholarship, the Presidential Scholarship, to roughly six of the top admitted students of the first year class. That being said, a portion of the College’s endowment is reserved for a handful of other outside scholarships, such as the Rotary Club and National Merit Scholarships. You should also know that the financial aid program at Trinity is very strong. Over 40 percent of the student body receives some sort of financial aid package, and the average package is 25,000$ a year, 20,000 being in the form of non-repayable money. So generally speaking, the average student will graduate with only 19,000$ of debt. I’m also glad to hear you are interested in the Human Rights Program! My friends who are involved say only great things. Don’t hesitate to ask if you need any more information on either finances or anything regarding life at Trinity.
