Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth
Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth offers a single unified department of engineering sciences that brings together faculty with expertise in a range of engineering and science disciplines. Students are mentored by teachers who are not only experts in one or more fields but also generalists who can envision solutions that cut across traditional disciplines.
The Dartmouth engineer is a balanced, versatile thinker who studies engineering, but not only engineering. Our students can define a problem, place it within the broad social and economic contexts, and articulate a clear vision for the solution. Because their skills can be adapted across disciplines, Dartmouth engineers can more easily stay at the forefront as technology advances, and have the option of applying their problem-solving skills to other career paths.

- 8350Savannah, I sent this to you in a private message but in case anyone else is wondering this too: You would be an undergraduate student at Dartmouth who is then eligible to major in engineering sciences, or any other major modified with engineering sciences, OR you could minor in engineering as well. We like to give you lots of options!

- 8350Hmm, I'm not sure. At Dartmouth, computer science is a separate department: http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/ They may be able to answer your question.
