University of Tampa Admissions Hi Samantha. Our acceptance rate is approximately 47%. Our average GPA for acceptance is a 3.3 (unweighted). Our average ACT is a 24 and our average SAT is 1100 (math and critical reading only). We like to see a strong college prep curriculum and a student who is active in their school and community. There are not any specific courses or clubs that "look better."
