Tammy Hall
Follow messageI am a million shining stars in a world of swirling colors, a passion filled bomb about to explode, a dreamer, a believer, me. My name is Mae and I am going to change the world.
I want to blaze through college with flying colors, write world-shattering articles for a magazine that I helped design, create a story that changes someone's life, save the lives of animals by putting them in a shelter that I own, and show the world that I am more than they see. Dreams and reality will collide, and success will be mine.
Extracurricular
- Layout/website making
- In my spare time, I love making layouts and such. There's just something about turning a blank page or webpage and turning it into a work of art that I love. If I had the time, I would definitely make a myspace layout website. :]
- Drawing
- I'm not a very good artist, but my father's work is a huge inspiration. I would love to be as great as him someday.
- Photography
- I tend to see beauty in alot of things that other people cant. A picture is a memory. If I cannot prevent time from moving on so quickly, then I will use my camera to catch every single second that I can.
- Tae-Kwon-Do
- I did Tae-Kwon-Do in middle school and absolutely loved it. Eventually, the money ran out and me, along with my dad and younger brother, had to quit. When I get more time after graduation, I plan to start back up.
- Yearbook
- I was on the yearbook staff last year. It was stressing, and I hated it honestly. But, that was only because I was inexperienced and working with a staff of five (who were also all inexperienced). Our administrator was not very helpful at all. However, un
- Newspaper
- I always wanted to be on the newspaper staff in highschool, but never got the chance. With work and limited transportation, and then yearbook in eleventh grade, I couldn't seem to find the time. But I will be sure to go for it in college.
- Guitar
- I've had my guitar since 6th grade and I can currently play one song. Ha. My dad is an excellent guitarist and more than anything, I want him to be the one to teach me. He works alot though. So, I've decided to buckle down and go to guitar lessons.
- Singing
- I loved singing in the choir.
- Writing
- Writing is my biggest passion. I have an over-active imagination and, since I wrote my first story in the first grade, I have never been able to prevent myself from writing everything down. I'm currently working on my first novel, and over-the-millionth-s
- summer hours are excruciating
- Coming in to finish yearbook over the summer was definitely a volunteer thing. Even though I was the editor :P
- I was the yearbook editor/designer.
- Oh, blah. I pretty much worked my arse off all year, and halfway into the summer, editing/designing the yearbook. It was hectic.
- Yearbook :]
- I know it may not seem like leadership experience... but I worked my butt off in yearbook. I came up with the design, the ladder, the cover, and the opening statement...which basically carried the entire theme. I'm not being conceited...but I honestly be

- 2007 to 2009
- This was my first (and currently longest) job. In my two years there, I learned a lot about hard work and the value of a dollar. I made wonderful friends and grew as a person while my level of responsibility flourished.

- Cleaning up after 100+ residents in a nursing home is not a fancy way to spend time, and it's not the creme de la creme of all jobs, but it's paying the bills while I study for my career. If anything, my jobs have taught me that passion is the key ingredi
