I'm Sydney . I have a twin sister. We are both highly competitive swimmers. Swimming takes up most of my life, but I'm very passionate about it. I'll be swimming on my college team and I'm working hard to represent the U.S. in the 2012 Olympics. Academically I want to pursue architecture. I've become really interested in solar energy and finding alternative forms for our worlds energy needs. All in all, I'm "too blessed to be stressed".

Varsity Swim Team

swim on the school team and a club team year round. love the sport and been swimming since i was 7.

Playing the piano

i used to take lessons, then i stopped. but now i play for fun or to help me out when i'm singing. its fun and i love it

Chorus

used to always want to be a singer when i grew up. Now i just sing for fun. part of the high school choir

Volunteered at an Oakland Community Center

worked for an organization affiliated with my mom's work. We planted plants, cleaned out leaves, and cleaned the inside. It was a one day job

School put on a Holloween festival for children in the neighborhood. i helped supervise and i ran boothes too.

Safe School Ambassabors

students worked with counselers to make our school a safer environment. We went through training and help discuss problems we see and een prevent problems from happeneing.

my choir and i, along with 2 other choirs, sang the Mozart Requiem conducted by John Rutter in Carnegie Hall. Was an awesome experience, i would totally do it again!

Scholastic All-American for swimming three years of high school,(because you cant get it as a freshman), principals honor roll all four years

Specialties & Skills

once a person gets a certain time they are considered an all-american. In every relay i participate in, it's recived an all american award. I'm now trying to get it in an individual event.
