Suffolk University

(Boston, MA)

Suffolk University is a private University offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Sawyer School of Management, and Law School. Suffolk is located on historic Beacon Hill in the center of Boston. The University also maintains a campus hosting various undergraduate programs in Madrid, Spain. The University has touched many lives as it has grown from a one-room school to a world-class academic institution. Our students foster a commitment to public service, and are ambitious in establishing independent paths to reach the goals they have set. We take pride in being a personal, student-centered school, where faculty and administrators know students by name. We take the time to recognize each student’s promise, raise his or her expectations, and build important mentoring relationships. Generations of remarkable students have found a purpose here. They have gone on to become successful and conscientious citizens of the world, taking leadership roles in law, business, public service, science, and the arts. The academic programs emphasize quality teaching, small class size and real-world career applications. Class sizes are small in the undergraduate programs averaging 22 students. Our location in the heart of Boston provides our students with access to outstanding internships or part time work that help support their academic goals as they move forward into a professional career Over 5,000 undergraduate students from 42 different states and 110 different countries attend Suffolk. Suffolk offers more than 75 active student organizations, a nationally ranked debate team, three student publications, a strong visual and performing arts program, as well as accredited Art and Design programs through the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk. Suffolk's undergraduate library, theaters and new resident facilities provide excellent resources for students interested in living in Boston.
