I was looking at your site and it said that you live with a host-family for your time in Spain. Is that the only option?
  • 1015
Hi again, there are actually 3 options: in addition to host families, there are residences (like a student dorm) and shared apartments as well. The host family is a great option to transition to university in a new language and culture, but if you'd like a more "typical student experience" we offer different residences as well. Shared apartments are reserved for upperclassmen - after your first year of college. You can see more information and links here: http://www.suffolk.edu/madrid/41363.html

what is the average SAT score for your school?
  • 1015
Hi Esthefanie, an SAT score is one of the items we use in making an admission decision. If a student has a solid B average with testing in the 1500 range, admission should not be a problem. Students below that are not necessarily denied, but we look at the mitigating factors. If we feel the student has collegiate and academic potential, we will give them a chance. Suffolk is an institution that believes in that.
