Well I do a lot of things such as Band (French Horn), Winter Drumline (Cymbals or Bass 3), Forensics (Original Oratory or Humorous Interpretation), and Drama. I always seemed stressed but I love everything I do and I find I do my best under pressure. I am a nerd, but not a very good one. I like junk food, Marching Band is my life (see how I made it a proper noun?). I am an episcopalian, I love Jesus, and I am an avid democrat.

I am a contestant in the 2010 Sweet Diggity Dawg Scholarship Contest. And I'm here to dominate.

I believe I deserve this scholarship because I do so many things outside of school. Yes school is a big part of my life and time commitment, but I also volunteer, clean up neighborhoods, play local concerts, plan benefit events and more. With this scholarship, I won't have to worry about working long hours and filling out mounds of scholarship papers and instead focus on what is truly important to me, our community.
Let's see, my big three have an order around the table. I would be at one head to represent what I can be. At the other end is Thomas Jefferson. As a founding father he to me is the ultimate role model. He came up with the basis of this country and was more than a politician. He was an astronomer, a scientist, a writer, an inventor, and so much more! He is the epitome of what I hope to become. To the left of me would be Franklin D. Roosevelt. All of his plans never cease to amaze me. Even if the plan was a flop, the fact that he came up with something that he believes in, and ACTS on it makes him truly a revolutionary. He represents all I wish to have. To the right of me would be Winston Churchill. His skilled military tactics only paled in comparison to his mastery of oratory! The fact that he was such a powerful man, and used it for the greater good of society represents all of what I have yet to become.
If I was a superhero, I think I would want to be able to control the elements. I think controlling the elements would pretty much render any of my enemies useless but at the same time, be able to provide an impeccable defensive position at anytime. I think this would allow me to be in peace when need be, but be surrounded by people when the time came to be sociable.
Well with one million dollars, first I would pay my way through college. Because money isn't an immediate issue I would be able to attend the college of my choosing (after acceptance of course!). I would then buy a nice condo near a lab where I could work at (possibly on the university I attended) and I would be able to finance the initial start of my work to cure seemingly "incurable" diseases until federal funding kicked in. With my left over money, I would put it in trust fund that I would use to put my future children through school.
