My name is Megan, and I'm a girl with some big dreams. Someday, I hope to become a doctor and help kids with epilepsy, like myself, deal with the cards they're dealt. For now, I love high school and I couldn't be having a better time. My family and friends the world to me, and I love to sing, dance, and act. I'm absolutely addicted to Harry Potter and Twilight, and I adore any movie that will make me laugh. I'm pretty much horrible at sports (seriously), but I like trying new things. I'm hoping for Ivy League next year, but no matter what, I can't wait to face my future with a smile!!!

I deserve this scholarship because all I want is to be able to go to Princeton, and right now I don't have the money to go. I've worked so hard in high school: I've taken 10 AP courses, completed approximately 300 hours of community service, and been a member of 12 clubs consistently. I hate that money is the only reason that denies me my chance at an Ivy League education, so I really need this scholarship. My family doesn't have the money: my father is a handicapped rescue worker of 9/11, and cannot work, and my mother stays home to take care of my brother, sister, and I. This $20,000 is my last chance to be able to go to Princeton, and I think I deserve that chance.
