Follow messageThough I have participated in sports, such as JV Basketball my Sophomore year, I am extemely involved in many of the offered music programs at my High School. For this upcoming school year, I will be involved in our schools' Advanced Choir and Advanced Wind Ensamble. Both of these classes are filled by audition. I have also been involved in our Marching Band every year between my 7th grade year to this upcoming schhol year except my Sophomore. This year, I will also be involved with our schools Jazz Band.
Extracurricular
- Advanced Wind Ensamble
- This class is audition class with a select number of students. I was one of two Freshmen who were accepted into the class.
- Advanced Choir
- This coming school year I have the opportunity and privilege to participate in the Advanced Choir. This is an auditioned group with equal number of male and femal parts. The students are expected to sing two and sometimes one a voice part but often there
- Concert Band
- I play multiple instruments in our High School Concert Band. I started playing Flute then our band Director had me learn the bassoon.

- My first instrument I ever learned was the Flute. I started learning how to play in my 5th grade year. It is no longer my dominate instrument though I do take it out at least once a week to play and keep up my skills.

- Out of yet another interest, I decided to teach myself how to play the trombone. Due to time crunch in my Junior year, I was unable to learn much more than the basics and a B flat Concert scale. I was also told that if need be, since there was only one tr
- Choir
- I also participated in our High School Choir class. It is a mixed gender class with no size requirements. Our Choir Director has the students all sing varoius genres and even different languages. We almost always had a song where motions were incoprorated
- Painting Props
- I also love to do art but my Freshman year, I was unable to participate in the Annual Musical our school performs. I wanted to help. I was to paint and biuld sets and tear down after the Show days.
- Babysitting
- I often help my Mother babysit the kids in her Home Daycare. I get many hours doing this.
- Interior Painting
- I am often asked to help paint walls on not only my house but also friends' houses.
- Running Errands
- I help my mother while she is working to run errands for her, whether they be shopping for her or bring our two dogs to the groomers.
- Helping at the school library
- I help to organize, collect, and box books towards the end of the school year and sometimes other odd times they need help
- Marketing
- I helped to pass out fliers multiple times for the Goddard School for young children. This helps to bring in new students
- SSAC
- This group is unique to our school. I was develped by our new superintendant to help give him feed back on what is going on in our school and what needs improvement. These things could vary from students' grades to the actual schools' condition and even t
- Mentorship
- The Licking County Educational Services sponsors a mentorship program where students are able to, for a semester, learn what it is like to hold a perfession of their choice. they must do a final project and be with their mentor for at least 20 hours.

- I was chosen out of a few of the students in my school in my 7th grade year to not only represent my school, but also my state in Washington D.C. I was there learning leadership skills. I even met with one of our Congress persons at the time.

I do not have time to watch movies often and many times I prefer to read a book if a movie is made from a book i.e. Twilight. I do love the movies "The Other Boleyn Girl" and "The Duchess".
