This scholarship is open to all high school students; international students are eligible.
This scholarship is open to all high school students; international students are eligible. This scholarship will be awarded to the best portfolio of poetry, writing, art, photography, videos, etc., uploaded to your Zinch profile. Students are able to upload as much audio, video, art, and photography as they would like to their Zinch profile. All media, representing any form of talent will be considered in the selection of the winner.
The winner will be determined by the quality of the performances and/or media submissions, not on the quantity of media submitted. Diversity of mediums and categories is a plus.

JSTN's profile.As is the case with all Zinch scholarships, the rest of your Zinch profile will also be considered.
You can submit as much media as you would like to your profile, even after you have applied for the scholarship. You have until the scholarship deadline to upload and complete your digital portfolio.
Zinch is all about being more than a test score and there is no better way to show off all of your talents than through your Zinch digital portfolio.
There are hundreds of schools searching for students with visual and performing art interests on Zinch and now you can catch the eye of your dream school and win the money to help pay for tuition.

Current high school student graduating in 2011, 2012, 2013, or 2014. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. International students ARE eligible for the scholarship. Your Zinch profile must be over 80% complete.
If you are new to Zinch, this is our longest running and most prestigious scholarship award. Each year semi-finalists are selected for this scholarship based on their Zinch profile. The semi-finalists then compete, March Madnezz style, in a bracket of 64 students. Students go head-to-head, with the best Zinch profile advancing, until only one student remains claiming the $20,000 scholarship.

The Selection Committee will choose the 2,500 semifinalists by reviewing the profiles and talents of those who participate below.

We are currently not allowing students from Maine to register on the site. A new
privacy law was recently passed in the state of Maine that prevents persons under
the age of 17 to share personal information online, including name, address, and
email address.
Please contact your Senator to encourage them to get this law reworked.
