I'm more than just a name.
My name is Stacey Delos Santos and I live in a big town in New Jersey. Unlike the many people who want to get out of their state for college, I want to stay instate. The only thing I do not like about my state is that it is the most diverse, yet most segregated. I hope that changes one day.
Besides that, I am an 18 year old filipino girl who loves to sing, write, draw, play piano, act, bake, and volunteer. I love to get creative when it comes to baking or the arts. One of the things I'm most proud of is helping to save the Trenton Barracks in NJ.

Extracurricular

Student Ambassadors

We volunteer at our schools programs as well as find volunteer opportunities within our community.

Tutoring

I tutored middle school students in math and english and a high school freshman in Algebra 2 for free. I found out about this from being in Student Ambassadors.

Teacher's Aid

I live right across an elementary school, so I helped out kindergarten, first grade, and second grade class without pay. It was such a fun and great experience.

Library Volunteer

I've volunteered at the public library every summer since 6th grade and helped out with the summer reading program.

The Wizard of Oz

I did not have a major role but I definitely learned so much from this experience. We all became a close knit family and I met so many people who are still my friends.

Summer Camp Assistant

I was a summer camp assistant at my church's summer camp.

Women's Choir

I love to sing all the time but I was only in our school's choir for my freshman year.

Chamber Choir

I was the only freshman in this select choir, so it really was an honor, but at the same time it was demanding.

Talent Show

I performed "Lesson Learned" by Alicia Keys at the talent show.

ICCA

ICCA is a cultural club at school. Each year we have a cultural show. So far, I've sung the national antem and sung a filipino song.
