Application Overview:
* A completed and signed application, including the parent/guardian section (pages 1 through 6).
* Official transcript with school seal (can be sent directly from school if necessary, but must be received by the Foundation on or before application deadline).
* A recent wallet size photograph (for publicity/identification purposes).
* A completed Parent Financial Information Form.
* We will not accept hand-delivered or faxed applications. Only completed application packets (including photograph) will be accepted for consideration.
Eligibility:
* High school seniors or undergrad college students who are citizens of the United States may apply for a one year scholarship. Scholarships are not automatically renewable; however, the Foundation does grant scholarships to a limited number of students who re-apply each year.
* Carry a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40 through the first semester of the school year.
* Attend an accredited United States college or university in the school year.
* Actively be involved in university, athletic or community services.
Purpose:
The foundation has established a college scholarship program to recognize special students for first year recipients. Skandalaris Family Foundation Scholarships fund any chosen course of study at an accredited United States college or university. The Foundation also allows previous recipients to re-apply and may increase their award amounts based on their success. There are two scholarship applications, one for high school seniors and one for college students.

The Skandalaris Family Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation managed by members of the Skandalaris Family and officers of the Foundation. Each year the Foundation awards scholarships to a group of students characterized by their special talents, leadership skills, outstanding character, strong values, and commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
