Application Overview:
The National College Match application requires you to provide extensive information on your academic accomplishments and financial background, as well as write three essays, complete short answer questions, and gather three letters of recommendation, a transcript, and test score reports. The application allows you to apply to up to 8 of our partner colleges by using one application. You will be asked to rank these colleges in order of your preference.
Eligibility:
The QuestBridge National College Match is designed for high school seniors who have shown outstanding academic ability despite facing economic challenges. Most College Match scholarship recipients come from households earning less than $60,000 annually (for a typical family of four) and have experienced long-term economic hardship.
We do not have absolute criteria for GPA, standardized test scores, or income. When selecting finalists for the National College Match, we try to answer the following questions:
* "Does this student have the motivation and academic ability to thrive at one of our partner colleges?"
* "Has this student overcome socio-economic obstacles to achieve academic excellence?"
Only U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to receive College Match scholarships to partner colleges (with the exception of Brown, Pomona, Princeton, and Yale, who may consider applications from students who are not U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents). Students who are not U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents can still use the QuestBridge application, be chosen as QuestBridge finalists, and participate in the Regular Decision process.
