In 2006, he received the Provosts Award for Excellence in Teaching. Both awards are named in honor of M. Herbert and Elsa Bausch Eisenhart. Mr. Eisenhart was the longtime president and board chairman of Bausch & Lomb Inc. and a member of RITs Board of Trustees for more than 50 years.
