Hey, my name is Ricky Phuong. I'm planning on majoring in graphic design. I'm very creative and I feel that this is the right major for me to express all of my ideas. I have done many forms of visual art from T-Shirt designs, photography, painting, drawing, and etc. I love the idea of using art to express yourself. I'm a perfectionist and I enjoy knowing what appeals to people, which will benefit my career in Graphic Design. I'm also interested in performing and culinary arts, but feel that my visual art is stronger. Overall my goal is to strive to be the best and let my creativity run wild

Extracurricular

Photography Class

I took photography class and won the directors award with my photography at wcu art show, it is something I am interested in.

Debate Team

I help participate in the practice of debate for competitions. I also help designed the shirts.

Art 2 Class

I took the art 2 class and entered my art work into many shows. I got a honorable mention at the scholastic art museum. Art is something I am passionate about.

Mu Alpha Theta

I have been in my alpha theta for 3 years. I was asked to be in it because of my outstanding math grades. I help fund raise, enter in math competitions and tutor for this club.

National Honor Society

I was asked into this club because of my grades. I have participated in volunteering, fund raising, and etc.

I am the student body treasurer. I particapted in fund raising, donating, volunteering, and etc.

S.T.A.R Club

Student's teaching aids reasearch club is a club I have designed shirts for. I am the vice president and we help students understand more about aids by having assemblies and events and speakers.

I have always been into art, I have taken some sort of art class each year. I feel that I have a lot of creativity that needs to be show cased.

Highschool Spring Musicals

Junior year I participated as a House Manager and Stage Manager in our Peter Pan Musical. Senior year I will be in the Grease Musical.

Talent Show

I have always been interested in hip hop dancing. I participated in a hip hop choreographed dance routine with choreographer, Alex Ibarra.
