Do You Have A Competitive Cheer Team ?
  • 2294
Yes and no. Because competitive cheer is not recognized as an NCAA Div I sports, we changed it to 'acrobatics and tumbling.' Our team just competed in the NCATA quarter-finals and will participate in the Event National Championships on Saturday, April 28 in Waco, Texas.

I was reading your pre-med information and it said that a total of 44 credits is needed in: BIO 101-102 General Biology Lecture & Laboratory CHE 110-111 General Chemistry Lecture & Laboratory CHE 210-211 Organic Chemistry Lecture & Laboratory PHY 110-111 General Physics Lecture & Laboratory ENG 101-102 English Composition MA 141 Mathematics, Calculus of a single variable Plus one additional calculus MA 140, 142 or applied statistics does that mean that I can take all these classes with out having to take the normal core classes i.e social studies, or would I still need to take core classes
    • 56
oh and are the same classes needed in the pre-med course if I am going into the field of neuroscience to be a neurosurgeon
    • 2294
To answer your first question, some of the pre-med program courses could possibly count toward the same courses if they are part of your chosen major and others might count toward the university core curriculum. To be more specific than that, I would recommend that you speak with a faculty advisor. You can contact Dr. Joan Bombace, Professor of Psychology at joan.bombace@quinnipiac.edu. She is well-versed in both the pre-med program and the behavioral neuroscience major. Best, Louise
    • 2294
oops, I guess I answered both questions. :-b
