- 246I'm sure Princeton doesn't prefer any test, but taking both is always a good idea. The one that you are most comfortable with and prepared for will most likely be your best score. Remember that besides taking the SAT or ACT, Princeton also requires all applicants to take a minimum of two SAT subject tests.
