Does Princeton offer a mechanical engineering program? Mechanical engineering is going to be my primary major ( I think that I might try a double major with music as my second). How would I compare to the average student if my grade point average is 4.25 (I've taken 2 AP classes and in the process of taking three more) and I got a 33 on my ACT?

Are you considering Georgia Tech? I doubt that you'd have any problem getting in there, and its mechanical engineering program is probably better than that of Princeton.

which test does your school prefer students to take, the ACT or the SAT?
          • 246
I'm sure Princeton doesn't prefer any test, but taking both is always a good idea. The one that you are most comfortable with and prepared for will most likely be your best score. Remember that besides taking the SAT or ACT, Princeton also requires all applicants to take a minimum of two SAT subject tests.

I've always been interested in Princeton, but I am already going to a different college. I am a Senior in high school, and have skipped 1 1/2 years of high school. I have a current GPA of 3.8 and have been in honor rolls all throughout my life. I will be graduating with honors, and possibly become a member of the National Honor Society. I have maintained an (unweighted) A+ in AP U.S. History, Biology, Economics, Entrepreneurship, British Literature, Computer Applications and American Government. Otherwise, I have A's in Accelerated Geometry, Personal Finance.
