Pittsburg State, founded in 1903, is a public, comprehensive university. Programs are offered through the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Technology and Applied Science, the School of Education, and the Gladys A. Kelce School of Business and Economics. Its 233-acre campus is located in Pittsburg, south of Kansas City.

Goin' to Kansas City .... Kansas City here we come! Okay Gorilla fans, friends and alumni ... we'll be in the big KC June 1st and 2nd for some cool events. The evening of June 1st we'll be at our first ever First Friday event at the MWE Inc. Office Building on Wyandotte Street AND for you baseball fans, that same night Coach Tim Beck will be throwing out the first pitch for the KC Royals at Kauffman Stadium.

On the 2nd all of the MIAA schools are gathering at CommunityAmerica ballpark to cheer

The outpouring of support and rebuilding of these cities has been simply amazing. We hope you will take just a moment today to remember those whose lives were changed forever, and to reflect upon how far these cities have come since that time.
