Otterbein celebrated Founders Day, April 24-26. Events included a spring community plunge with over 400 volunteers, a Donut Run 5k, Scrap Day games, and a convocation. Otterbein was founded on April 26, 1847.

Otterbein College celebrated its last commencement as a "College" on Sunday, June 13. The 550 members of the class of 2010 were the last to graduate before Otterbein once again becomes a "University." The commencement ceremony was also the first under President Kathy A. Krendl.
