        I am interested in attending OSU in order to study phycology (NOT a typo). I would like to study algae, specifically kelp related environmental issues. I don't know which department to apply to: botany, marine biology, or environmental. Anyone?

        i dont know if you have to live in a dorm there freshman year, but if you do is there any way that i wouldnt have to because i have a blind dog and im her seeing eye person.

          Hello Taylor. I am a current student at Oregon State University. The dorms are coed as your neighbor can be either guy or girl, but some floors or wings are designated to either female or male. Yes you can have a room with the opposite sex but it is not advised. This option is most common with a spouse or relative.
