The UNC at Chapel Hill, founded in 1789, is a public, comprehensive institution. Programs are offered through the College of Arts and Sciences, the Kenan-Flagler Business School, the Division of Continuiting Education, the Graduate School, and the Schools of Dentistry, Education, Information and Library Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Social Work. Its 729-acre campus is located in Chapel Hill, eight miles northeast of Durham, and includes that two oldest state university buildings.

      Hi, im interested in attending to UNC, I live in Puerto Rico. I have two questions: Will it affect in anyway my application if I took Statistics AP instead of Calculus AP? Statistics will help me more in the future, because I would like to be a Lawyer and an Accountant. Question # 2: Is affirmative action taken there? in other words, is being Hispanic give me a extra boost? And yes i have an excellent transcript at the moment.
