North Carolina A&T State, founded in 1891, is a public, historically black university. Programs are offered through the Schools of Agriculture and Environmental and Allied Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Nursing, and Technology. Its 191-acre campus is located in Greensboro, 90 miles north of Charlotte.
