Glenbard East High School Class of 2013
I grew up in Hillside, IL
I'm Nicole Adele Sabel, That's what I do best.
As of right now, I'm a Junior at Glenbard East and love it! I have a love for badminton. I like to play badminton. I was offered Varsity Manager Freshman Year, 2 years ago. I love volleyball, watching AND playing. I'm not your typical girl. I enjoy playing football. I played tackle when I was younger, and still do. I also, did flag football in 5th grade. I have my first Degree Black Belt with one midterm, so watch out!

I am a hard working student. I wanted to get a head start on college, so then I don't need to be the senior in 2nd Semester asking myself 'What DO I want to do?' or 'Where should I go?'

I am VERY family oriented. Yes, I am Catholic and my family that I am closest with is Christian/Lutheran. But I was raised to accept them. And I have. When my cousin was in a SEVERE car accident, it brought us closer and made our relationship stronger. Now I Skype him, and his son. I am very grateful that God has blessed me with such GREAT family. They give me so much support in all that I do. Most live in Wisconsin, all close to each other. So my goal is to get a great education close to them. But I am open to most anywhere. I would like to close to home. Like 4 hours at most. Unless there's something that I see in the college that is worthy of my driving the longer distance. I only see my Wisconsin Family once or twice a year. So when we somehow managed to go 5 years of not seeing each other, it really opened my eyes to a different perspective on life and all the things that can change in the blink of an eye; college, marriage, and having children.

Life changes. And now, I've adjusted to it. I talk to one of my other cousins, at least twice a week. It's great, I call her the older sister God never gave me. She's been there for me, through anything and everything. She's helped me get through so many things. And I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for her. She and I may be 18 years apart, but it feels like so much less than that. She’s a GREAT inspiration, and I do as much as I can to be like her. She’s the greatest person I know. And I’m proud to have the pleasure to call her my cousin. I get my license soon, so I'm hoping to visit her at least once a month so we can catch up with life. I like to call her husband my older brother from another mother, because I did not have the pleasure of having an older brother. And I love them both. <3

And I just can't begin to say, how much they mean to me. (:
