- Church Activities
- I currently attend LDS church services every Sunday from 1-4. From the ages of 12-18 I also participated in youth activities each Thursday, in which we played games, gave service to those in need, planned other activities, and discussed spiritual matters.
- Choir and Ensemble Singing
- I have participated in several choirs including a Young Women's Choir, Church Choir, and I am currently working on a piece to sing in church and at a church activity with four other girls.
- Seminary
- I attend an LDS Seminary every day an hour before school starts. We learn about the scriptures and principles of the gospel.
- Spanish Class
- I am currently taking Spanish so I can expand my communications with the world.
- Volunteered at American Fork Literacy Center
- I volunteered for about 3 years, teaching kids how to read, shapes, etc. I went twice or three times a week every week.
- Visit the Elderly
- I visit the elderly a lot - ever since I was a toddler. I often help them with yardwork, housework, and just visit so they aren't so lonely. I have also been caroling to rest homes and individuals.
- Quilt Projects for Chile
- We quilted quilts for children and families in Southern Chile.
- Camp Songbook
- I put together the Camp Songbook for my church group's Young Women camp of over 150 young women.
- Haiti Project
- We started a Haiti Project with my Gifted/Talented English and History class. We raised money with car washes, collected/painted toys, and got clothes, school supplies, to send to the Haitian children
- Humanitarian
- I worked with the LDS Humanitarian efforts in order to send hygiene items, school supplies, clothes, toys, etc. to the US and foreign countries. I assembled and packaged kits.
- Tutored for Free
- I tutored three students in Geometry, Biology, Intermediate Algebra.
- Accompany Children in the Spanish Branch
- I accompany the songs that the children in the Spanish Branch sing each Sunday in their Primary Class.
- Young Womanhood Recognition
- This is the highest award a young woman (12-19) can achieve in the LDS church. To earn it I spent over 70 hours doing service and doing things like reading scriptures, creating goals, learning homemaking skills, etc. Overall, it took about 150 hours.
- EnergySolutions Scholarship
- I received a scholarship from EnergySolutions. They gave this scholarship to one person per high school in Utah. They chose based on scientific and mathematical inclination, activities, service, and the promising future leaders of the science/math/enginee

- I headed a project to collect money and canned donations to send to needy families in our community for Thanksgiving.
