My name is Nadya Ali. I am 17 years old. I currently attend Sammamish High School in Bellevue, Seattle. Being the oldest and I have always set myself as a leader by maintaining a good GPA while in high school and being able to volunteer in my neighborhood. Growing up in a society that emphasizes me as a number and minority I realized through my years of developing the need for awareness in recognizing and appreciating the diversity we do have in Seattle even though it is a small amount compared to other areas. - Black Student Union
- Bring awareness to the African American culture and all the issues that surrounds them
- Hip Hop team
- An organization that is new to Sammamish High-school. Perform at school and fundraisers outside of school as well.
- Diversity club
- Recognizes the differences we have in schools and what we can do as a society to bring the levels of segregated people more together.
- Link Crew
- The organization prepares for the incoming 9th graders. Atour around school during the summer is organized by the Link Crew organization and we are their leaders for their first year in high school to teach them all aspects of High school.
- Muslim Student Association
- Awareness to the Muslim groups we have in school and we present others with the Muslim culteres around the world

- Hosted Bingo and played scrabble. At times read current events and assisted in bringing the elderly to the ding room. Put on make-up for the women and played some songs on the piano.
