Mount Vernon Nazarene University is a private four-year university established by the Church of the Nazarene. Founded in 1968, their goal is to shape their students' lives through education of the whole person, with emphasis placed on cultivating Christ-likeness for lifelong learning and service.Mount Vernon Nazarene offers one of the most affordable Christian collegiate educations in Ohio.Hundreds of the University's students go on school-sponsored mission trips every year, and the school offers over 15 study abroad trips every year.
