I'm a Christian. I'm left-handed. I love to draw and paint. I'm kind of an introvert, but I'm trying to be more outgoing. A few years ago, I started a new hobby, making necklaces out of soda bottle caps and leather string. All my friends loved them and asked me to make one for them. Later I started making them with guitar picks and I'd hand paint the first initial of the recipient on them (very popular with the ladies). I even sold some at a festival. It was fun, but I enjoy just giving them to people and watching their faces light up. Generosity feels good. I'm no relation to Chuck Norris

NJROTC Drill Team

We practiced every Monday after school. I was on the B-team. We participated in two drill meets.

We participate in community sercive acitivities, empty stocking fund, etc.

volunteered at a hospital carnival

My school's NJROTC unit participated in a carnival at the Aiken Regional hospital. The carnival included inflateables, facepainting, food,etc. I worked the cotton candy machine.

Adopt-a-Highway litter clean-up

My NJROTC unit picks up trash from the highway in front of my school.

volunteered at a horse shelter

I along with some other kids in the Beta Club at my school spent an afternoon at a horse shelter, feeding the horses.

Work-based Learning

I got an internship with Shaw Areva MOX Services through the work-based learning program at the Aiken County Career Center.

Tarboro Reconstruction

When I was younger than middle school, I went with my dad to a town called Tarboro, NC to help rebuild houses after a big flood.

Habitat for Humanity

Every year, my dad participates in Habitat for Humanity's Builders' Blitz where several construction companies work together to build a house in one week for a low income family. I participated twice, while employed by my dad.

Operation Christmas Child 2010 to Now
When my church starts doing Operation Christmas Child every year, I take shoe boxes to my school to get people from outside the churches to participate. Last year, we had around sixty students bring us back a filled shoebox. I'll continue to do this each year while I'm in college.

Impact Aiken is a community service organization in my town. My sunday school class joined them one Saturday to reshingle the roofs of a some houses in Aiken. It was a blast.
