U Massachusetts at Amherst is a public, land-grant institution. Founded as an agricultural college in 1863, it became a state university in 1947. Programs are offered through the Colleges of Engineering, Food and Natural Resources, Humanities and Fine Arts, Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences; the Schools of Education, Management, Nursing, Public Health and Health Sciences; and the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies. Its 1,463-acre campus is located in Amherst, 20 miles north of Springfield and 90 miles west of Boston.

    I would like to have some more in dept knowledge on the online certificate program in Journalism. For those who have taken online courses, what is the approximate length of each course? For those who are or have majored in Journalism, how engaging is the curriculum?
