Marissa Sehmann
Follow messageHi! My name is Marissa. I live in a small college town in Ohio. I'm pretty much the living example of "a small town girl with big time dreams". I'm really looking forward to my life in college and after college because I'll finally have the freedom to start working on accomplishing my dreams and goals. And I have plenty of them! Where else would that 1000 miles long bucket list have come from? I would say I'm a very well rounded individual and have at least a little interest in almost all subject matters: sports, art, music, politics, travel, nature, video games, pool, you name it. Right now I'm pretty sure I want to study Graphic Design/Advertising with a mix of Marketing, but that could change tomorrow...and again the next day, so stay tuned. As for college I'm really not sure where I want to go based on location, but I know I'll be happy as long as I get to have a lot of opportunities to try new things, maybe like skydiving! or motocross riding! or getting to travel to Greece! or maybe getting the chance to sing or act on a huge stage! Whatever happens my life is probably going to one extraordinary ride :)

Favorites
- Movies:
I absolutely love movies! Especially any of the Transformers films, Pirates of the Caribbean (all but 4 are great!), The Entire Harry Potter Collection, anything from Disney's Pixar, August Rush, and of course Inception.
- TV Shows:
I really don't watch a lot of television because I'm one of those computer people. However when I watch t.v. I will watch Pretty Little Liars, George Lopez, Teen Wolf(a new fav),Cake Boss, Anything on HGTV, That 70's Show, and Everybody Hates Chris.
- Music:
My taste in music is pretty eclectic. I'm not the kind of person who listens to the music of specific bands. I normally will find one or two songs from many different artists that I like. I really like: Taylor Swift, Mumford and Sons, Owl City, OneRepublic, The Plasticines, MGMT, Pitbull, Nikki Minaj, Carrie Underwood, Gloriana, Rihanna, Paramore, ELLIE GOULDING, Sky Ferreira, Sheryl Crow, Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson...just to name a few.
- Websites:
Just like the rest of the world I'm addicted to Facebook, Youtube, and of course: Google Chrome because of: Angry Birds
- Quotes:
I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life's a bitch. You've got to go out and kick ass. - Maya Angelou
Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead. - Benjamin Franklin
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I'm telling lies.
I say,
It's in the reach of my arms
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I'm a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That's me. - from Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Woman"
- Books:
I love to read but I don't read a lot outside of school work like I used to. Some of my favorite books actually came from required school stuff. Such as Jane Eyre and The Great Gatsby! I actually haven't read any of the Harry Potter books either(I know I've had ten years) but I know they are going to be some of my favorites too.
