EAST GREENWICH, RI
Flowers and clouds, grass and peace...blaring radio? I groan and slam the snooze button, silencing the alt-rock that wakes me up. The numbers glow 6:45. I listen to the CD du jour as clothe myself in a Prout School uniform. I grab some assortment of vegan munchies as I run out the door to catch my ride. I crank up my mp3 player and read, blocking out all but the characters on the pages in front of me. I arrive at school and gaze at the building, brace myself for another day, remind myself that each day in this institution is another step toward freedom, success, and influence. Ambition.

- We learn math, go to meets, and win.
- Anime Club
- My friend Kaitlyn and I started The Prout School Anime Club. We are the presidents, and we have about 20 members. We do fundraisers, and are planning to go to Anime Boston.
- Mission Trip '07
- Every year I go on a mission trip to South Carolina with my youth group during February break. We go to an extremely run-down community on john's island and repair houses there.
- Volunteered at a Food Pantry
- I helped out at the local food pantry.
- Volunteered at a Senior lunch
- I prepared and served food at a senior lunch once a week.

- SLTP is a leadership conference that is held in the summer that empowers students to become leaders in their community. I have had the privilege to be trained, and staff at this program.
