Liberty, founded in 1971 by Dr. Jerry Falwell, is a church-affiliated university. Programs are offered through the College of Arts and Sciences, the Schools of Business and Government, Communications, Education, and Religion, and the Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Its 160-acre campus is located in Lynchburg, in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
