I play tuba like a girl. My name is Lauren. I am 17 years old. I have a younger brother and sister that drive me crazy but I love them anyway! I live in a small town but am more than ready to get out and explore new things and places. I'm a Christian. God is a major part of my life.I went to Campbell County high. I have participated in Girl Scouts, and am active in band, Spanish Club, and Beta Club. Band is a major part of my life and has been for the last seven years. I have learned to play three different instruments which are saxophone, oboe, and tuba. I enjoy doing math, chemistry, English but also enjoy reading.

- I can play three different instuments: saxophone, tuba, and oboe. I started playing alto saxophone in sixth grade and then switched to tenor saxophone in seventh grade and have been ever since. I learned oboe my sophmore year and tuba my junior year and
- Girl Scouts
- I have been in Girl Scouts since I was in kindergarden and plan to stay active. I love Girl Scouts and what we do in the community. I am currently working on my Gold Award which is the highest award you can earn in Girl Scouts.
- Spanish Club
- spanish club is a program my Spanish teacher started to help charities by charging us $5 and sending it to a charity and he helps us with our Spanish work whenever he can.

Honors & Awards
My awards are mostly from my school band. I recieved the Director's award my sophmore year for going beyond what a band kid is supposed to do. I also recieved the Most Improved award twice, once my freshman year and once my junior year. My senior year I was awarded the Jazz Band award for being extremely committed to and talented in the jazz band for five years.
