Hey there. I go by the name of Shay and I am finding out day by day just who i am as a person. I feel as if im special because I was pushed to be the best at most things. Everything's not a competitiong though. I want to experience life with no limitations. At the moment, im a high school gradute. I could not go to college due to having to care for my mother at home and insufficient funds. All my life i dreamed of going to college and at the last moment the life i planned out with my head in the clouds went POOF! all in one instant. But life has something in store for me. I know it. Best Buddies

Becoming best friends with an intellectually disabled child.

Book Club

A book is selected by the librarian or students, in which we read and go over afterwards as a group/class. Lots of questions and opinions are given and asked.

Blood Drive

Giving blood for the Best Buddies Program. Also, helped with putting up chairs/taking out.

Run For The Cure

Passed out waters and fruit to those who ran in the breast cancer race.
