- Concert Orchestra 2010 to 2011
- Concert Orchestra is the entrance orchestra for all freshmen at my high school. We simultaneously work on challenging musical pieces, technique, and music theory. Pieces we have played range from Psycho (Prelude) to the Brandenburgisches Konzert (Brandenburg Concerto) and everything in between. As a pianist, I have a unique role in the orchestra. At once I have my own part and are collaborating with others. There is also a second pianist within the orchestras, creating the unique opportunity for us to occasionally play together and perform duets. We also each had the opportunity to play Batalia a 10 in D Major C. 61 by H. Biber. It is a chamber piece in which each person has a unique part; no two people shared the same one. It was a great opportunity to participate in chamber music.

I truly like just about every type of music. Classical, country, pop, alternative, rock, name something and I can probably tell you I'm a fan. The one thing I just don't understand, though, is screamo. Sorry guys!
