My name is Kyle Orlando, and I am a sophomore at North Harford High School in Pylesville, Maryland. I enjoy a variety of different activities such as: distance running, hunting, singing, musical theater, tennis and playing bass guitar with my friends in different bands. I consider myself reasonably intelligent, but I would say my main flaw is my level of organization and planning. I often get consumed from the variety of tasks I am asked to accomplish. An example is the present, for I need to juggle singing (choral concert is coming up)running, and bass guitar simultaneously.
Extracurricular
- Vartisty Boys Cross Country
- Second fastest runner on the team out of 16 guys 10th grade year. 10th grade year was plagued by massive school work and pneumonia.
- 3200 meter relay, 1600 meters, 3200 meters
- Track is where I do my best. Personal bests: 800 - 2:15 1600 - 4:55 3200 - 10:52
- A Capella Choir
- I sing Bass 2 for A Capella choir
- Men's Choir
- I sung Bass 1/Baritone for Men's Chorus in 9th grade.
- Instrumental - Bass guitar
- I play bass guitar. Hopefully I will get lessons in the future. Very good at learning by ear. I am learning to sight read on bass guitar, and I already can read bass clef from chorus.
- Les Miserables
- I was recruited for Les Miserables because they needed more guys. I participated in the musicals in middle schools and received lead roles, but my interest waned when high school started. I was a member of The Chain Gang and a student named "Courfeyrac"
