Kutztown University of Pennsylvania
Kutztown is a public university. It was founded as a teacher training school in 1866, became a state college in 1960, and gained university status in 1983. Programs are offered through the Colleges of Business, Education, Graduate Studies, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Visual and Performing Arts. Its 326-acre campus is located in Kutztown, midway between Reading and Allentown.
