I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia as the first generation Filipino-American in my family, speaking only Tagalog. I learned how to speak English in English as a Second Language classes in the 1st grade. I aspire to be a Nurse because I have always been interested in working in the medical field and want to be that person that makes a difference in people's life. I intend to pursuing a master's degree as well. I developed my passion for music by learning to play the violin in the 5th grade, and have contined playing to now. In additon to nursing, I intend to study music performance in college.
