I grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia as the first generation Filipino-American in my family, speaking only Tagalog. I learned how to speak English in English as a Second Language classes in the 1st grade. I aspire to be a Nurse because I have always been interested in working in the medical field and want to be that person that makes a difference in people's life. I intend to pursuing a master's degree as well. I developed my passion for music by learning to play the violin in the 5th grade, and have contined playing to now. In additon to nursing, I intend to study music performance in college.

Chamber Orchestra, Strolling Strings, and Youth Choir

Junior Varsity Soccer

I played soccer in the 10th grade, and I had so much fun. I had other obligations my 11th and 12th grade years, so I was never able to continue playing.

I volunteered at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

I served as a volunteer for three consecutive summers at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, VA. I helped in PACU, Phase II, medical records, physical therapy, and the floors.
