The sun glistened on my gold and black jersey, while the sweated dropped down on my face and with every droplet fear was erased and agility was replaced. When the referee blew his whistle, the time awaited for my team and I, and all that mattered was the final score, the final battle of a warrior. People of ask why I talk about playing soccer so habitually, but it is my life, it is a part of who I am as a person. My preparation for the world was based solely on the lesson I learned as a leader, and belonging to an activity that was more than a sport, more than a team, but a family.
