It is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and enrolls 1,340 students. Founded in 1833, "K" College is among the 100 oldest colleges and universities in the nation.

The College began to officially sanction Day of Gracious Living in 1974. But for years, students (and even faculty) would pick a day to skip class and head to the beach. This photo was taken in 1966 or 67 at Woods Lake in Kalamazoo.
