Joining the University family in September 2010, Justin T. Smith is the newest member of the admissions department. He is also the advisor and manager to the popular a cappella group The Fading Point.

Prior to joining Southern Virginia, he has worked in the music industry as both a business manager and performer. He has organized hundreds of special events and international music tours for university and professional ensembles alike, including the contemporary Christian group Jericho Road.

Smith has a B.A. in communications from Brigham Young University and a minor in music. He and his wife, Kristie, have two children.
