    Hello, My name is Deasya Holley. Juilliard is one of the most well known respected schools in the nation. I have been wanting to attend this school since the age of 5. I have been dancing for 10 years now doing, ballet, modern, hip hop, ext. I also sing and write music. I have a passion for dance and music it is my life. I love the busy life of a dancer or a singer or song writer. My grades are good in school. I would love to get a scholarship to this school. I would put my education and dreams first. My dream is to be in Juilliard for college.

    This is the school that I have wanted to attend ever since I was a little girl. I sing, play guitar, violin, piano, and I write music. I am hoping to get a scholarship to pay for at least part of this. I love music so much. I is my passion. I would be honored to attend this school.

    Hello, I'm a highschool Senior at the academy of arts and academics in Springfield, Oregon. I am not going to be able to graduate this year, due to a lack of credits, but I will be finishing up my credits next year and most likely attending Lane Community College to lock up some College Credits. When I left my previous school as a junior I had a 1.6 GPA, but ever since I came to A3, I've had excellent grades and plan to continue to have excellent grades throughout my remaining time here. I have yet to take the SATs or ACTs until I finish my credits. I was wondering if you could tell me what I might need to do in order to attend your college in the fall a few years from now, or even what my chances are of getting accepted. Thankyou. --Emily Ocean

      So is juilliard only a preforming school? because i want to be a music teacher so would juilliard be a good choice?

        it is only a performing school, but if you go to Juilliard you can take a class at Columbia. I don't think that includes teaching though.

        To get accepted there only has to be an audition? I am hoping to study at Juilliard. I'm currently a violinist and have been playing for 10 years. But i haven't been to any competitions or gotten any awards other than All-county. Not having a competition and award experience, does that affect my chances of getting into Juilliard?

          What kind of training/experience would increase my chances of being accepted? (I'm currently in community theatre and drama club right now, and am hoping to do theatre camps over the summer.) Thanks so much!
