• I volunteered to walk in the annual Kidney Walk held in my hometown. Our group walked in honor of a fellow student that recieved a kidney transplant prior to the event.

• Helped prepare, decorate, pack, and deliver boxes of canned goods to needy individuals in our community for the Student Council's Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.

• Every Christmas our Student Council adopted a family through the program and purchased gifts for them for Christmas. I helped by reading letters, donating money, and wrapping presents.

• Ran canteen at school's "Fall Festival" 2009 to 2009
• I helped run a canteen at our school's first "Fall Festival" in order to raise money for the "Go Green Team".

• I spoke to incoming freshman about the many opportunities in high school, helped pass out schedules, school id's, books, papers, lockers, t-shirts, and gave tours of the school to new students.

• I volunteered to wash the cars of our faculty and staff members as an act of appreciation for the many things that they do.

• I helped my school raise and count money for cancer patients through the St. Jude's program.

• I frequently volunteered at a local animal shelter called MAMA's, helping with any tasks needed to be done such as: cleaning cages, washing dogs, feeding animals, etc.
